The Engage Conference will include 2 general sessions, a round table discussion and 3 sets of workshops repeated in order to give you the opportunity to attend at least 3 of the 9 that will be offered. Jeff Dodge is a Pastor at Cornerstone Church in Ames, Iowa. Jeff teaches and directs training & equipping of ministries & small-group life

 

Gospel Centered Community Ministry

Abe Miller is the Youth Pastor at Saylorville Baptist Church. Abe is a member of the national board of Vision for Youth, an organization that works to equip youth workers and leaders to engage teens with the Gospel.



Lynsey Mulder will also be joining Abe to speak about our ministry called Wee Ones which involves ministering to needy mothers.

 

Gospel Centered Evangelism (mentoring the next generation of evangelists)

Chuck DeCleene is a the Pastor of Evangelism at Saylorville Baptist Church and leads the visitation ministry. Chuck.is an associate professor at Faith Baptist Bible College. Previous to his ministry at FBBC, Chuck was the senior pastor of Faith Baptist Church in Carroll and a missionary to Ecuador.

Gospel Centered Leading your Church Through Change (making changes without changing your message)

Pat Nemmers is the Senior Pastor at Saylorville Baptist Church in Des Moines, IA. Pastor Pat is a powerful expositor of the Word of God and has a passion for leading people into a relationship with Jesus Christ.

 

Gospel Centered Worship

Mark Vance is the Pastor of Music and Ministries at Saylorville Baptist Church. Mark leads the weekly worship at SBC and teaches the Mosaic Community Group, a class for young adults.

 

Gospel Centered Church Planting

Dave Heisterkamp is the Pastor of Lakeside Fellowship, a new church plant from Saylorville Baptist Church. Previously Pastor Dave served as an Administrative Pastor at SBC and as the senior pastor of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Algona, IA.
 

Gospel Centered Seniors Ministry

Garold Quick is the Seniors Pastor at Saylorville Baptist Church. Garold’s ministry demonstrates a servant’s heart and a passion for taking the Gospel to senior citizens.

 

Gospel Centered Counseling

Kevin Thomas serves as the Family and Counseling Pastor at Saylorville Baptist Church. Previous to his ministry at SBC, Kevin worked with the ministry of Baptist Children’s Home.
